Corporations and Cities, 2008

publicity campaign for a three-day colloquium on the corporate real estate of the urban future

Corporations and Cities is an initiative of the Faculty of Architecture at the Delft University of Technology in collaboration with the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam that brings together international professionals, policy makers, researchers and scholars in the fields of corporate accommodation, real estate, organizational management, urban planning and architecture to consider the relations between urban planning and the accommodation of large-scale organizations. The three-day colloquium took place from 26 to 28 May 2008 at Flagey in Brussels, the former National Institute for Radio Broadcasting of Belgium.

Just like urbanism tends towards the “generic city”, the visual identity for the Corporations and Cities conference refuses the use of a static logo but emphasizes a modular design approach that allows context-specific adaptation for different types of media. Here, transformation and redevelopment are represented by the dynamic variables of a visual grid.
